Licensing & Legal Terms

Two options for licensing ImageResizer and Imageflow

1. Publish the source code to your project (like on GitHub) under an open source license compatible with the AGPL v3. To get a product key (convenient for using NuGet packages), sign up for a commercial subscription trial, then email evidence of your open source project to sales@imazen.io.
2. Purchase a commercial subscription, which will give you similar freedoms to the Apache 2 license, and not require you to publish your own source code. You can find the Subscription Privacy Policy here and Terms of Service here. The Site-wide Subscription License Terms will apply to product use, although there are additional terms (corresponding to subscroption add-ons) for OEM redistribution and SaaS usage.

Special usage situations where usage limits apply

If you are charging your clients to access a product that uses ImageResizer or Imageflow, all of your usage will be cateogrized as “SaaS usage”. The Site-wide Subscription License includes limited SaaS usage for free (up to 16 concurrent cores), but if you exeed those limits, you will need to purchase a subscription add-on based on the number of servers/cores/serverless time you are using (see the SaaS license page). sales@imazen.io will can help you adjust your subscription and figure our what you need. Relevant license terms

• The Site-wide Subscription License v1.0 is what you’ll be using the software under when you subscribe.
• If you are reselling usage via a SaaS and need more than 16 cores, you will add on the Imazen SaaS License v1.0
• If you are redistributing the software as part of a product, you will need to add on the Imazen Redistributor Agreement and recipients will use it unnder Imazen Redistribution Recipient License
• If you’re creating bespoke software, the site-wide license is sufficient, but see the pricing page faq for details.
